About Us

American-Built. Partner-Focused.

We're operators and dealmakers who believe the best business relationships are built on trust, not just transactions.

Old Glory Partners — our story
Our Story

Founded on a Simple Idea

Old Glory Partners was founded by a group of experienced operators and investors who saw a gap in the market — too many acquisition firms that treated businesses like assets on a spreadsheet, not enterprises built by real people.

We do things differently. When we partner with a business, we bring capital, operational expertise, and a genuine commitment to the people and communities behind it. We're in it for the long haul.

Our name says it all. We're proud to be American-built, and we're proud to back the businesses that keep this country running.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Straight Talk

No jargon, no runaround. We tell you what we think, and we expect the same in return.

Long-Term Thinking

We're not flippers. We acquire businesses we believe in and build them for the long run.

Operator Mindset

We've run businesses ourselves. We know what it takes, and we bring that experience to every partnership.

Community First

The businesses we back are part of communities. We take that responsibility seriously.

Our Team

Founder

Tom spent 13 years at Mohawk Fine Paper — North America's largest privately held premium paper manufacturer — in roles that included Sales Management, Director of Customer Service, VP of Sales Operations, and President of Crane Stationery, a Mohawk subsidiary. He went on to co-found Mohawk Insurance Services, building a property and casualty firm focused on complex risk in real estate, construction, and manufacturing, which he and his partner successfully sold. Tom then took on a senior advisory role within the Department of Homeland Security, serving as a Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary of Management. In that capacity, the management directorate is responsible for overseeing budget, finance, procurement, human resources, IT systems, biometric services, facilities, security solutions, performance measurement, and federal infrastructure protection across the Department. Tom is the President and Founder of the New York Chapter of Folds of Honor, a Trustee at St. Gregory's School, and a member of the advisory board of the Special Operator Transition Foundation (SOTF). He holds a bachelor's degree in American History from Bates College and lives in the Albany, NY area with his wife, Avery, and their four sons.
